UPSEE 2018 is formerly known as Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination. UPSEE is entrance exam for admission in UG and PG engineering courses in engineering colleges/institution affiliated to AKTU. This exam is conducted by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh. AKTU is main body to conduct engineering entrance exam for admission to all its affiliated colleges. Aspirants who appear in UPSEE/AKTU entrance and qualify become eligible to take admission in engineering UG/PG courses.
UPSEE 2018 application form submission was started from 23rd January 2018 and will be filled up to 30th March 2018. Candidates who think there is something wrong with their application form, they can correct it. UPSEE application correction has started from 26th March and candidates will be able to do modification till 5th April 2018 (5:00PM).

UPSEE 2018 Dates:
- Online application starts: 23rd January 2018

UPSEE Eligibility criteria 2018
To appear in AKTU/UPSEE entrance exam, it is mandatory to meet eligibility criteria as per program/courses.
B.Tech: Candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board with minimum 45%, reserved category candidates score minimum 40%.
B.Tech (Bio-tech): 12th passed with Physics & Mathematics/Biology from a recognized board.
B.Pharma: Candidates who want to take admission in Bachelor of Pharmacy program, must passed 12th with physics and Chemistry subjects from recognized board.
B.Arch: 12th passed with physics & mathematics from recognized board.
B.Tech. (Agri): Candidates must studied 12th with agriculture stream.
MBA/MCA: Candidates should be graduate from a recognized university. Aspirants who willing to do MCA, must have studied mathematics at graduation or 10+2 level.
Eligibility criteria for taking admission in 2nd Year of the program (Lateral Entry)
B.Tech (LE): Diploma in engineering or B.Sc. with mathematics from recognized university/institution.
B.Pharma (LE): Diploma in Pharmacy
MCA (LE): BCA/B.Sc.(IT)/CS) from recognized university.
UPSEE 2018 Application form
UPSEE online application started from 23rd January and ends on 30th March 2018. Candidates who want to take admission in B.Tech/MCA/Pharmacy courses are required to submit UPSEE 2018 application form and qualify.
Candidates must check eligibility criteria for desired program carefully. The mode of application is online only. There is prescribed application fee of Rs.1300 for general and OBC, Rs.650 for SC/ST category candidates.
Aspirants are recommended to fill details in all field carefully, however application form can be corrected later but there are limitations.
UPSEE Application correction
Aspirants who have submitted their application and want to make some changes, this can be made online. Online application correction will open from 26th March to 5th April 2018.
UPSEE 2018 Admit Card
UPSEE admit card 2018 will be released to those people only who have applied for UPSEE 2018 Entrance exam. The admit card will be available to download from 20th April 2018. Candidates can download admit card/hall tickets by entering login credential at UPSEE official website.
The admit card is mandatory to appear in entrance exam. Without UPSEE hall ticket candidates will be allowed to give examination. You admit card contains all required information of such as name of the UPSEE exam center, date, time and important instructions. Read all printed instructions carefully before entering in examination hall.
UPSEE Exam Pattern
It is essential to have detailed knowledge of UPSEE exam pattern. UPTU exam will be on OMR based pattern for all 11 papers except drawing aptitude question paper which is paper IV. All the questions will be objective types.
The examination will be both online and offline mode. Question paper 1, 2, 3 & 4 is to be conducted via offline mode on OMR paper. Question paper 5 to 11 will be conducted through CTB (Computer Based Test). The duration of the exam is actually 3 hours.
Each question has 4 answers including 1 correct answer. Correct answer will be rewarded as 1 mark. Two answer of a question will be entertained as incorrect answer. No negative marking is applicable for incorrect answers so don’t worry about that.
AKTU result is expected to be declared in 1st week of June 2018. Aspirants can expect result as per performance in the examination. The result will be published on official website of AKTU and can be accessed through login credential. After the declaration of UPSEE result, counseling process will start.
UPSEE counseling 2018
The counseling of UPSEE 2018 will start in the month of June 2018 after the publication of result. Through UPSEE counseling candidates will be allotted government/private colleges for B.Tech/MCA/MBA courses. The allotment of government aided or private college is totally depending of rank you score in the examination.
The counseling process contains five steps-
Registration for counseling: Based on UPSEE rank candidates will register for counseling. The register process will be simple as any application process. Candidates need to pay a prescribed registration fee online to appear in online counseling.
Document Verification: After the registration, candidates need to visit nearest document verification center to verify all original documents. Without verifying the document candidates will not be able to fill the choice.
Choice Filling: candidates can fill as many choices as he/she wants. The choices can be filled online only, after filling desired choices lock the link of college.
Seat Allotment: As per filled choices and rank, candidates will be allotted college. The allotment result will be published on official website of UPSEE.
Seat confirmation- after you get allotment letter, it is time to report and with required documents and prescribed fee to confirm admission as per given date.
